Presentation of Apple: new iPhone, tablet and ... stylus

After months of rumors and "leaks," Apple finally unveiled a new range of its iPhone smartphones at the San Francisco event. It's about the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. The main update for the smartphone models of 2015 is a new input system 3D Touch, increased in comparison with the models of last year performance, a new camera, as well as a new photo format Live Photos.


Externally, new products have not changed in comparison with the models of 2014, but external components have undergone a serious update. For example, the 3D Touch technology, which is an enhanced version of Force Touch, available on Apple Watch smart watches and the latest MacBook notebooks, it recognizes different degrees of pressure (pressure on the screen) and, based on this, complements the application with a new input option (the same function, for example , performs the right button of the computer mouse).

As a demonstration, the main characters of Apple used 3D Touch to quickly preview emails and maps. When you click and hold the application icon, you can, for example, display all the shortcuts that are inside this application. That is, for example, you can immediately start the self-image mode in the Camera application.


Inside the new iPhones, a new mobile A9 processor is running, which, according to the company, is 70-90% (depending on the application) percent faster than the A8 model of 2014. In addition, new smartphones have a new M9 coprocessor. Also, Apple notes that the technology of recognition of Touch ID now works twice as fast as before.


The camera was also updated. The size of the main rear iSight is now 12 megapixels. It received a faster autofocus, as well as a more efficient noise reduction system. In Apple they say (as, indeed, every year), that now the camera allows you to create really cool and vibrant colors with clear pictures, and in the proof of this showed a few examples. For the first time for smartphones Apple is now available to record video in 4K format. FaceTime front camera "grew" to 5 megapixels.


In addition, Apple also showed a new technology Live Photos. When the image is pressed for a long time, the program shows a few seconds of the video that was recorded before the moment when this picture was taken. Similar features are, for example, the technology Zoe, presented in smartphones HTC a couple of years ago. Support for the new format is promised on all the most current Apple products.

Last year's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus brought the company great success. Sales of both models for the three months amounted to 47.5 million, up 35 percent over the previous year.

On this wave, prices and options for devices with available permanent memory remained the same as last year, and the prices for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, in turn, fell by $ 100 in each price category. In the West, the cost of the new iPhone 6s version with 16 GB of permanent memory and a two-year contract will be 199 dollars, 299 will be asked for a version with 64 GB of memory, a device with 128 GB of permanent memory will cost $ 399. Prices for the iPhone 6s Plus, in turn, are $ 100 higher in each price category. International prices (without a contract) for new items will be announced later, but, most likely, they will remain on par with prices for the model of last year.

Pre-orders for the new iPhone start on September 12th. In the sale of new items in the markets of Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK will go on September 25.

Last worth mentioning is that the new iPhone, of course, work on the basis of the new operating system iOS 9, whose official release will take place on September 16. And now among the available color palette of the device body is available a new color "Rose Gold".


In addition to showing new smartphones, Apple introduced an updated Apple TV set-top box that acquired its application store, games and Siri, as well as a new 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
